1.1 ABOUT FICA
The Federation of International Cricketers Associations (FICA) aims to promote the interests of professional cricketers around the world. FICA acts as the representative voice of all professional cricketers world-wide on issues of importance to the international game and, in particular, to represent the players of the game before the ICC, working with the ICC in the best interests of FICA's members, the game and the public.
The eradication of corruption in cricket at all levels is another of FICA's priorities. There is close co-operation between FICA, the ICC and other relevant bodies in the task to ensure throughout that the best interest of the players are safeguarded.
FICA also provides its members with assistance with a view to achieving their objectives and to assist in settling disputes between the individual members of any Member and to use reasonable endeavours to resolve disputes between Members.
The six current FICA Members are:
