MOU

The MOU is a collective agreement between Cricket South Africa (CSA), the six regional Franchises (Cobras, Eagles, Dolphins, Lions, Titans, Warriors) and SACA. The MOU acts as a platform whereby the abovementioned parties can negotiate matters relating to professional cricket.

The MOU also serves to innovatively assist professional cricket to deal with the fluctuating annual Cricket Revenue, and to stand as a clear statement of how fundamental matters relating to players will be dealt with in the professional cricket system, whilst encouraging a culture whereby CSA, Franchises and players work together.

Furthermore, the MOU strives to promote the ongoing financial sustainability of cricket and enable financial planning. It facilitates and promotes relationships, and co-operation between the stakeholders in professional cricket including the public, players, administrators, sponsors, broadcasters and other media.
